Sunday evening...

Today was a good day. My parents were set to leave around ten so I decided to head out for a run. Again, I'm a complete moron and signed up for a half marathon that's a little over a month away, and I've basically taken a year off running. I really wanted to know how far I was going and I don't have any high-tech stuff to tell so I borrowed a gadget from a friend (thanks Michelle) and got a really good route (thanks Dow) and ran OVER 7 MILES!!! That was the start of my Sunday. I really think the endless hours I've spent on a spin bike over the last year had something to do with that. GASPARILLA-HERE I COME!
My parents left on schedule and it was bittersweet. Molly has been moping all day because Lady (my parent's dog) isn't here anymore. Anyway, they are home safe and happy.
The boys and I enjoyed a beautiful day of spending Toys R Us gift cards and playing outside. I even got some cones to put out in the road for the residents that don't know what a stop sign is. I had one lady today ask me if I was setting up an obstacle course. Do I need to tell you she's one of the ones that rolls through the stop sign daily while texting? Moron...

Ray comes home tomorrow (loud applause and cheers)! We all miss him, and the house has been way too clean;) Just kidding! However, I did notice that I only vaccumed once this last week when normally I vaccum like three or four times. I have proved my point that "shoes off at the front door" works indeed. We all do it except for Ray...who apparently is the one who is tracking all the dirt and nastiness in on his smelly shoes, thus causing my vaccum to work overtime.
P.S. If he keeps it up, I am getting the Dyson...

7 miles?! That's awesome. I must try spinning one of these days!

7!!! And honestly, I could've kept going. Needless to say that was a huge confidence boost.
