As you may have read a few posts ago, RJ had a little accident a few weeks ago that caused some trauma to his front teeth. After a dentist and a pediatrician appointment, we thought everything was going to go away and that his teeth would be fine. On the contrary, his two front teeth have turned completely grey and will most likely have to come out. I don't know why but this makes me so sad, I actually cried the other night about it. Ray reminded me that he doesn't have an incurable disease and he is in absolutely no pain whatsoever and that brought me back to reality again. They are, in fact, baby teeth. But if you know RJ, his little smile lights up a room and his teeth were so gorgeous. I work really hard on my kid's teeth to make sure they are healthy and when something like this happens, I get upset. I'm allowed. I'm his mother. And as most of you know, Jackson had a fight with a wall when he was 14 months old and had to have one of his front teeth pulled, so at times I feel like the teeth gods are playing games with me for some reason. What are the chances that both of my kids will be missing front teeth before their time? I guess pretty good. Anyway, we won't know for sure until his dentist appointment on Monday. Will keep everyone updated! Say a little prayer for my little man please (and Daddy who will be bringing him to his appointent;-)

You know we are with you, Sweetie! That killer smile of his could light up the world. But in the end, Ray is absolutely right. I know it hurts that he may lose the teeth, but Count Your Blessings!!! Love you, m'
PS - Yes, you are allowed.
You are allowed. Cry, cry, cry if you need to and then if those teeth have to come out and his smile is even more gorgeous than it already is, you'll laugh thinking that you ever cried. NOTHING could make his smile any less precious....its not the teeth, its the attitude, the whole package and his cuteness level is off the charts teeth or no teeth.
