Go Bucs!

One perk of working at Jackson's preschool is that I get to meet some really cool parents of some really cool kids (some cooler than others). Last week, one of the parents very generously handed over two tickets to Sunday's Bucs game expecting nothing in return (still trying to get used to the Southern Hospitality that you just don't get in Jersey). And just like Dave with the Martina McBride tickets, this parent obviously doesn't believe in the cheapy seats either, because they were no doubt some of the best seats in the stadium. Ray has been wanting to go to a Bucs game since we moved down, and he was blown away by the opportunity. We left the kids with my mom and were out of the house by about 10:30am. We parked (we had a free parking pass-yay!) and hung out and tailgated until the game started. It was so nice to have some time with Ray to sit and talk without interruption and have some beers. After awhile we walked into the stadium, which we had never been in before. It was beautiful! There is a real pirate ship with cannons that go off when the Bucs score (the boys would have LOVED it), and according to Ray there were plasma tvs in the men's bathroom. Upon arrival, we received free Bucs t-shirts. We hung out a little in the club suite and got some lunch before going to our seats. Our seats were fabulous, the people sitting around us were friendly, and no one cursed, fought, or got too intoxicated (a nice change from Philadelphia). The Bucs won by a landslide and Ray and I had a nice date. We can't wait to go back again! I took some pictures that I'll post but of course my train-wreck-of-a-camera was acting up again so they aren't the best (did you hear that Santa?)

I'm buying a new camera the next time I'm at Costco. There's no doubt in my mind...I just can't live like this, lol!
Shannon, you are such a great friend!
