I seem to look forward to Wednesdays more and more these days. It's a little closer to the weekend and the rest of the week seems to fly by after them. The weather has been gorgeous and we've been spending a lot of time outside. FINALLY! The boys have been trying to get some independence with their playing outside. They have perimeters in which they know they need to stay within, but it's been too hard for Ray and I to let that happen so we are usually an arm's reach away, which comes in handy when a certain someone falls off their bike and gets a handlebar jabbed into his neck. They love their bikes and their "outside toys" so they like to be in and out a lot during the afternoon. Remember when your parents used to scream, "THAT'S IT! IN OR OUT-MAKE UP YOUR MIND!" That's me now. Yesterday afternoon we all rode our bikes to the park, came home and ate dinner, and the boys were sacked out by 7:30pm. Of course, that was after reading two Christmas stories. Tonight we read three Christmas stories. And they each had to read some. Bedtime has become a long process. Tonight we skipped teeth. I know, Mother of the Year.
Christmas is in the air. My favorite satellite channel has now converted into Christmas music and the decorations in our development have gone up. Of course it's been discussed that Skippy, our elf, will be making his annual appearance any day now as well. I do enjoy Christmas, but it's coming quick this year.
Jackson has two more days of school, then he's off all of next week. RJ and I have to go to school on Monday and half a day on Tuesday, then we get to enjoy the rest of the week off. I'm ready for some time off. I think we all are.

I was JUST wondering if I should bring out the Xmas books and DVDs. I think I'll hold off 'til after Thanksgiving but it sure is tempting...
