We are back to reality tomorrow, but only a short one. There are only 15 days of school until Winter Break! We had such a great weekend at my mom and dad's house. We saw family we don't usually get to see including my cousin Dan and his wife Holly, who will be leaving for Korea for two years:( Once again, my mom outdid herself in the kitchen (especially on the desserts) and I still feel like a stuffed pig. We rolled back in town early Saturday and Jackson was fighting off some sort of crud (fever, vomit) that was gone within 12 hours. We took him to the doctor just to be sure, and it wasn't anything major. I think I had a touch of it last night (my fever was hovering around 100degrees) and then Ray had it today. Hopefully it will skip RJ but who am I kidding?
We officially kicked off Christmas at our house today. We've got the tree up and scattered decorations, but I told the boys each day this week we'll bring out something else and by the end of the week we'll be done. Strangely, I really don't feel like Christmas this year which is so unlike me. I hope I snap out of it. I need to snap out of it. I do have a head start on my shopping which makes me happy, but there is always so much to do! Up next...trying to get a good shot of the boys for a Christmas card!
