Dude, where's my flash?

So I thought I was so nifty taking pictures with my phone and posting them right to my blog but the last few look like they were taken in a cave. I hafta figure out if I have/how to use the flash on my phone. I realize that I haven't really been blogging, just taking pictures and passing them off as blog entries. But life is busy and hectic most of the time and the blog must take a backseat. Ahhh....such is life. We are going through lots of changes in our life these days, mostly good, but then again, change is usually good.

We had a blast in Disney over Halloween. After Trick-or-Treating in the happiest place on Earth, it's doubtful the boys will ever want to do it on Fox Squirrel Lane again. We managed to get my mom and dad on Soarin' and Test Track in Epcot, which was pretty funny. My dad got around great and I think had a really good time with the boys, he even took them out for Trick-or-Treat. We all had a great time.
The following weekend was camping with Marg & John. Real camping, that is. This time was much more fun than last year. I don't know if it was the bigger tent, the fact that the boys are older and a little more independent, or the fact that the weather was perfect-but we really enjoyed ourselves. I think we were a little more prepared this time too. Looking forward to doing it again in February believe it or not!
Not much else going on except work and school. Jackson is enjoying Kindergarten and really seems to be coming into his own. He's crawled out of his little shell and has made a really cute group of little friends, whom we hear about on a daily basis. There is a little girl in his class who lives in our neighborhood and we drive her to school every day. Jackson is totally smitten with her and they seem to have become quite good friends. Not only do they ride in together, they sit at the same work table and eat lunch at the same table. I'm sure they'll start fighting like a married couple soon. Yesterday, on their way out the door of the car, I heard her say, "Jackson, don't forget your mom put your lunchbox in your bookbag. I don't want you to wonder where it is at lunchtime." Obviously, she knows him like we do. I silently cracked up to myself.
RJ is well, RJ. He has starting reading at school, the little prodigy. He continues to crack us up daily and has discovered all the little boy sounds (ie: gun shots, explosions, etc.) that he can make come out of his mouth. The other day he asked me if I would show him how to "toot with his armpit" (in our house, a toot is a fart). I shot him down immediately. I'm sure Ray will step in and take over on that one...
I guess that's about it for now. Time's a tickin' and I gotta cook chicken. Sorry if this post resembled one of those annoying Christmas letters people insist on sending every year about their lives, but I'm trying to update about a month and a half of life in 20 minutes!
