Seems like yesterday...

Those are the first words to one of my favorite Bob Seger songs. That guy has a song about everything and they all seem to sound about the same, but I love them. Anyway, Jackson's first tooth came out last night, and I was thinking that it seems like yesterday that I was waiting for him to get teeth. It's unbelievable how quickly things happen when you're not just living your life for yourself anymore, yet so much more worth it too. It was the talk of the house last night as to how much and exactly what the tooth fairy would bring. For some reason Jackson thought he would be getting a magic wand along with some cash. My sister gave the boys the cutest little tooth fairy pillows with a little pocket for the tooth, and I told him he would get what would fit in the pocket. He said, "I bet a lot of dollars could fit in there, and a wand could stick out of it." So after he went to sleep, I did what any normal mother would do and I went into my scrapbooking supply and McGuyvered a magic wand, and stuck it in the pillow with five ones. And at exactly 5am this morning, he was beaming next to my bedside. Yes, I said 5am.

The weather is wretched. Some may think it's great. I'm not one of those people. It's just about November, and we're still reaching high 80s. Yes, I know we live in Florida, blah blah blah. I'm hot. Is it too much to ask for a slight piece of fall?? Geez...

Last night before bed I took the boys on a before-bedtime golfcart ride. We were out for almost an hour. There was a nice breeze (finally) and we went and looked at some Halloween decorations. It ended up turning almost dark while we were out so that made it extra spooky.

We are leaving this afternoon for Disney, other than that, nothing else to report. Oh yeah, Jackson gets his cast off next week, just in time to go "real camping".
