So much is going on in our lives right now, it's hard to find time to blog. Every day brings a new adventure of some sort, and before I know it, we're putting the boys to bed and another day is gone.
We finally got a break in the hot weather and some cooler weather is amongst us, if even for a few days. Jackson is doing great with his cast. Never a complaint, the kid is a dream. On Wednesday we go back to the Orthopedic doctor to get more x-rays and probably another cast for two more weeks. He's got everything down pat, from getting a bath to putting on his clothes. I couldn't have asked for an easier broken bone experience.
Some friends of ours generously offered us their Bucs tickets for today and we gladly accepted. It was the first time the boys have ever been to an NFL game. They really had a great time-we all did. They especially loved the pirate ship and the cannons, which we actually got to hear because the Bucs did manage to score a few. They also enjoyed all the junk food and the fact that they could eat ice cream out of a football helmet. What could be better??
The next few weekends are jam-packed for us. There's even been some talk of camping...real camping. Again. They want to do it AGAIN! And some adults I know are even more excited than the kids...
