OK, I'm coming up for air today...
Jackson finally caught the stomach bug that was passed on through RJ (it took a week to get from RJ to Jackson) and he is crawling out of his dark hole today. The good thing about Jackson's stomach flu is that the vomit, poop and snot weren't blue and green like RJ's was because Jackson didn't eat SUPERMAN-FLAVORED ICE CREAM THE NIGHT BEFORE THE BUG STRUCK!!! As a matter of fact, Jackson basically had NOTHING in his stomach when it struck, so clean up was minimal:) Plus, he's now old enough to ask for a bucket to puke in, which is always better than all over whatever the nearest piece of furniture is. I will say that I am contacting a carpet cleaner within the next two weeks though because after this last bout of stomach viruses (and our recent dogsitting experience), our poor carpets are OVERDUE. That's all I will say about that...
On a less sloppier note, we are having visitors tomorrow! That's right, the Yankees are back! My two nieces and nephew are coming in tomorrow to stay for a week or so and we couldn't be more excited!
And because I don't feel like our life is hectic enough this week, I am participating in a garage sale at the Montessori this weekend. I love unloading un-used junk and getting money for it! It's almost a challenge for me every time to break my yardsale record set back in 2003 ($379.98). I know I won't do that this time, but it's still fun!
Oh yeah, and I just said goodbye to my wonderful friend, Robin. We were both bawling our eyes out on the street about an hour ago as we were locked in hugs. I am actually glad that there is hectic times coming up to keep my mind off her leaving me:(
