We're going to the beach for a long weekend. We're all packed...Ray took one look at the table filled with 30 bags and said, "you'd think we were going for a month." Hey, I need my stuff. Ladies, I know you can relate.

I just got done syncing my Ipod. My musical combinations make me chuckle to myself. I just added the new Beyonce song, which is by far the best song out right now on the Top 40 ("If I Were a Boy"). I don't like Top 40 anymore, but I will tell you that Beyonce and Jason Mraz are amongst my favorite singers right now. I also added some Celtic Thunder, Sonny James (lol) and George Strait. George Strait...sigh...how can anyone NOT adore him? He just may be my favorite of all time. And while his old stuff is the absolute best, he just keeps getting better with age. I wonder what George Strait and Sonny James would say if they knew they were on the same Ipod as Bon Jovi and Poison?

Jackson's first day of VPK was today. He came home announcing he "liked VPK so much better than 'regular school' because he doesn't have to deal with all the annoying 2 and 3 year olds." He added that no one cries or pees their pants, they just have fun and do math. LOVE him.
