Three things I'm grateful and happy about tonite...

~Singulair, and my wonderful pediatrician's office who called it in so very promptly tonight~

~Friday Night Lights (even though I've already watched this season's episodes on Directv, it's so awesome I'm watching it again tonite on NBC)

~My friend Holly and her happenstance upon the Winking Owl~

sidenote: for those of you not familiar with the Winking Owl, it's a wonderful red wine bought at...ALDI of all places!!! Normally I don't frequent places like ALDI because like Walmart, it gives me the heebeejeebies. Call me a snob, call me precocious, I don't care. There's a...I don't know...something....some sort of weird atmosphere...I just prefer Publix & Target (and Costco of course). Anyway, while having an impromptu dinner over at Holly's one night, she poured me a glass of the Winking Owl and I asked where she got it and she told me ALDI. What a surprise! And she also told me it was $2.99. Yes, that's right, $2.99. The very next day, I stocked up. (I also scored a 12-roll pack of Brawny paper towels, some Hershey's Easter candy, some milk, and some yummy oranges for mere pennies!) The Winking Owl gives you no nasty headache, hangover, or aftertaste. It's simply Napa-Valley goodness, right here at the Brandon ALDI! Thanks Holly! You are the queen of the bargains!
