We really wanted to go to the beach today. We've been throwing around the idea all week but kept reminding ourselves that it was "Spring Break Season". Everyone keeps talking about how crowded the beaches have been so we decided to stray from the beaten path and cozy up to one of the sidebeaches right under the Skyway Bridge. We had the place to ourselves-to fish, dig, relax and soak up the sun. We even brought along a portable grill and made burgers and dogs. Pulling the Yukon right up to the water was a bonus-no lugging our stuff down to the water and back. We had to improvise with certain things (no public restrooms) but all in all it was a perfect day! With three adventure-seeking males in my life, days like this are something I will happily get used to.
