Well, the weekend is over and so is the Superbowl, thank GOD. It was back to school today, at least for me. Jackson had some issues with his eye yesterday, he was in a lot of pain and we couldn't figure out what was causing it. When he was in a dark room, he seemed to be fine. He went to sleep last night and we didn't hear from him until about 8am this morning. I had already left for school, thinking Ray was going to have to take him to the dr. first thing. When he woke up he was fine, his eye was back to normal and he and RJ spent the day in their pajamas. It was the perfect day for that, and I must say I was jealous! School was especially crazy with 80 kids not being able to go outside due to inclement weather! I was glad to come home and get my bunny slippers on. The kids and I painted Valentines, ate leftover Superbowl chili, and played and played while Ray did some running around. I must say my multi-tasking skills are amazing: at one point today, I was mixing paint for crafts, cooking grilled cheese, folding towels, and watching Oprah at the same time!
I had a great run yesterday. The race is less than five weeks away, and I'm getting excited!
