Ahhhh...do you hear that???

It's the sound of silence!!! Ray and the boys just left for Alderman Ford Park with a bag full of snacks, drinks and big plans for a nature hike that Jackson's been talking about for two days. It's one of the prettiest parks around and it has the best trails for hiking. I was so tempted to go, but alas, I am happy for "my space". The weather this weekend has been gorgeous, allowing us to spend most of our time outside. It makes for a great night's sleep for the kids-and us! Yesterday the boys and I spent the morning at the Y, came home and rode bikes and then spent the afternoon at the park. Ray re-caulked the tub in the boys' bathroom. By the way, who woke up one day and decided to name that white stuff "caulk"? It's the most horrible word, right up there with "yogurt" and "squash".
Later today we're going to our community's Party in the Park. It should be fun if the weather holds out. I'll try and get some pics with my groovy new camera;-)
