...but truthfully, didn't you know it all along?? ;-)
Girlfriend Robin and I have signed up for the Disney's Princess Half Marathon in Disneyworld on March 8th!! Yes, that's right, about 9 weeks!
We are so excited about it for so many reasons. The biggest reason for me is that Robin had successful brain surgery on December 4th, and this is her RUNNING COMEBACK! She ran the Chicago marathon in October and finished in great time. Then she took a break and got some brain surgery, now she's gonna kick it "Princess Style" with ME! Oh yeah, she has two kids under the age of 3 as well. Her determination astounds me and I'm proud to call her my friend. I will also be running in honor of my beautiful sister-in-law we lost to cancer a little over a year ago. Dorothy always knew how to be a princess, and had the class and determination of all the great ones.
Robin and I are both longtime runners so the distance (13.1 miles) doesn't really scare us, but nevertheless, we're both a bit nervous-excited nervous! She can't start to train until February and my latest runs haven't been over about 4 miles at each time. I just have to kick it up a notch for a few weeks, but that tiara medal will be so worth it!

There was never a doubt that you are a princess, and I want to make it very clear that I am in NO WAY biased in the least. Seriously. At any rate, you are both princesses in our eyes and Dad and I know you will do a terrific run. Love you both, and very proud! ...but never, EVER biased...
you go girl!
Michelle and I are running the Gasparilla Half on March 1....we could have a Pirates & Princesses party!
