"What are you going to be when you're growed up?"

...that was the question Jackson asked me yesterday. I said, "You're lookin' at it, kid." I told him I went to college to be a teacher, but that I was his mommy and that's my job for now. Then I asked him what he wanted to be. My father in law spent his career serving the city of Philadelphia as a police officer. Jackson is somewhat fascinated that Pop got to wear a uniform, carry a gun, and catch the bad guys. He once showed Jackson an award that he received during his time in uniform, and the actual award is a statue of the Liberty Bell. He lets Jackson hold it every now and then, and of course Jackson loves that. So in response to my asking him what he wanted to be he said, "I want to be a police officer just like Pop so I can hold the Liberty Bell in my hands all the time, even when Pop won't let me."

Oh, he's also going to marry Lexi.

I asked RJ the same question. He told me he wanted to be in the circus, so he could ride his tricycle while doing tricks. I can actually picture that.

RJ mentioned plans of marrying Lexi as well. That should be interesting.
