...I wasn't one of those pregnant women who "vowed to never". For those of you not familiar with the term, I didn't "vow to never" let them eat fast food & candy, or to never have soda, or to not watch television. Heck, with a 2 and a 4 year old, TV IS MY FRIEND, although yes, it is limited and I'd rather them be doing creative things. But sometimes ya just gotta give in and let them watch their shows. They have both done a great job at picking wholesome, educational, cute-as-a-button tv shows. But my one"vow to never" was a certain tv show. I wasn't giving in on this one. I can't even say it...
...today, at approximately 3:40pm, EST, my kids discovered Spongebob Squarepants-completely by accident and poor timing on my part. Annoying, stupid,
senseless, and completely un-educational television programming. I was defeated by a yellow, buck-toothed, sassy-talking sponge.
Can't wait to see what they pick up from this one...
