Cuz we need an ARK! After dinner and baths tonite, I went into the bathroom to make sure everything was cleaned up and there were no wet towels on the floor. My feet were wet. The floor was FLOODED. Of course, I pointed the finger right at the boys, Matthew in particular as he was last to have bathed. He denied, I mopped, and went on trying to figure out what the problem was because after I spoke to Matt I flushed the toilet and noticed it backing up into the bathtub. NICE.
So I got that bathroom all dry, and started wondering how 8 people were going to function with just ONE bathroom all weekend. Boy, was I in for a big surprise-as I got closer to MY bathroom I noticed water all over ours too. The shower was backed up, and the water was EVERYWHERE. Ray is currently outside with a shovel trying to figure out what the problem is. I'm thinking perhaps a certain little 2 year old may have flushed something he wasn't supposed to. Not sure what the status is, but just wanted to let everyone know there are 8 people in my house right now, and no one can pee, poop or shower;-)
Also have to share that once again, my kids and nephew have put life into perspective for me. As I was sopping up the flood, starting to tear up a little, and wondering "why me GOD", they were running around playing cowboys and indians and having a grand old time. Their innocence and worry-free lifestyle should be bottled. Everyone is healthy and alive so who cares if we can't go potty or get clean?

At least you have 2 back-up houses to shower and potty! Although a distance for potty!
Feeling for you, Danielle!
And Pop should know how to do a temp fix! He has done his quite a few times! I think it's time to get rid of the oak tree! Just in case it didn't have anything to do with a certain 2 year old!

And I remember Jim putting things down the toilet a number of times! Even a pipe-snake couldn't fix it the one time! Lets see, there was the "Batman action figure", and the tough one was just a dental floss container! Who knew they could cause so much trouble!
Needless to say, John got very good at taking the toilet off and replacing the wax ring!
