The kids have some sort of funk. Fevers, sore throats, unusual laziness, and even more unusual-not eating us out of house and home like they normally do. They didn't even want dinner tonite, although RJ ate about 50 strawberries before finally calling it a day. Jackson went to the doc today and despite what we thought, he didn't have strep. Just a virus. And an antiobiotic. There were a lot of kids out of school today for some sort of sickness-pneumonia, strep, etc. It seems like it's always something.
I've been finding myself looking forward to summer more and more. I guess working with a bunch of middle-aged women is starting to get to me. Isn't it funny that the 8 or 9 women are getting to me and NOT the 80 children? In all seriousness, I do love my co-workers but it's been a long time since I worked this much, and while it's refreshing to use my brain again and have something of my own, I seem to be missing my life as a stay at home mom a bit. I am lucky to have the best of both worlds though, I don't ever have to leave my kids because they get to come to work with me. But that's another challenge in itself.
As I type this, Ray is on the couch with a bowl of Hershey's Miniatures and a glass of wine, critiquing the fashion choices of the American Idol contestants. It's so nice to be married to my best girlfriend, lol.
